Statement on Israel-Hamas conflict

As a human rights organisation, FDPN condemns all forms of violence and the horrific killing of civilians from both Hamas and Israel.

We stand for peace and justice. We cannot stand for genocide and the dehumanisation of Palestinians in the media. We must acknowledge the impacts of settler colonialism on Palestinians that has been going on for more than 75 years. We have a lot to learn and must call out illegal occupation and ethnic cleansing wherever it occurs.

There is no space for Islamophobia or anti-semtism in our societies and we must call for protection of human life.

FDPN will continue to uphold and advocate for rights of LGBTIQ+ displaced peoples.
