2024 Inquiry into the Migration Amendment (Removal And Other Measures) Bill 2024

This submission is made to the Senate Legal and Constitutional Affairs Legislation Committee in response to the public consultation on the Migration Amendment (Removal and Other Measures) Bill 2024.

Summary of recommendations:

1. We urge the Australian government to abandon the legislation in its current form and uphold its commitment to protecting the rights and dignity of all individuals, regardless of their nationality or immigration status.
