We now invite a final call for keynote speakers.Â
We are looking for LGBTIQA+ refugees and migrants who are actively working on LGBTIQA+ displacement issues in the Asia-Pacific to deliver keynote presentations. If you have lived experience of displacement and are engaged in advocacy, research, or grassroots work, we invite you to apply.
We also invite LGBTIQA+ organisations from the Asia Pacific region with demonstrated experience of working with LGBTIQA+ displaced people and refugee-led organisations from the Asia Pacific region with demonstrated experience of working with LGBTIQA+ displaced people to apply.

Types of presentations accepted
Keynote presentation
- Estimated duration of the presentation is 40 min with 15 min for Q/A.
- You can suggest to be selected as a keynote presenter. We will carefully consider this. If we cannot offer you a keynote presentation but would like to accept your proposal we will automatically consider it for a parallel session.
Parallel session
- Estimated duration of the presentation is 15 min per presenter with 15 min for shared Q/A. Total session duration is 1 hour. Each parallel session will have maximum 3 presenters.
Interactive workshop
- Estimated duration of the presentation is between 1 and 3 hours.
- Your proposal must be of an interactive nature and designed to teach particular skills or offer other engagement opportunities.
Focus areas for abstracts submissions
All abstracts must address the conference theme of the LGBTIQA+ displacement in the Asia Pacific Region. Abstract are accepted under one of the following focus areas. You can suggest another focus area provided it fits within the conference theme.
