The Queer Displacements Conference is the only event in the region focused exclusively on the experiences of LGBTIQA+ people in forced displacement, with intersectionality at its core. Contribute towards the Scholarship Fund
Scholarship Fund is set up to offer full scholarships to LGBTIQA+ forcibly displaced people to attend the 2025 conference.
Your support will directly impact individuals by covering essential costs, including travel, accommodation, visa fees (if applicable), and conference registration.
We aim to provide:
- 25 scholarships for domestic participants (outside Victoria).
- 20 scholarships for Victoria-based participants.
- 5 scholarships for individuals from the Asia-Pacific region.
We currently reached 20% of our goal to cover all these scholarships!
By contributing to the scholarship fund, you enable lived experience leaders to be at the centre of the event and be recognised as equal experts.
